If you’ve had a name change please contact us directly through this Chat Line. Provide us with the current name associated with your account, provide us the new name you would like to change it to and a valid photo ID to verify this information. Once all information has been verified by the Liveworks team you should see your name changed in your worker profile.

To reset your password go to the app under “forgot password?” you will be asked to enter the email you used to sign up. If you have forgotten the email you used, Contact us directly with your full name and phone number and Photo of ID and we’ll try to locate your account and follow up with you. 

Valid piece’s of ID must contain your name, a permanently affixed photo, signature, and cannot be expired.

Liveworks required pieces of valid ID’s to verify users information and keep our platform safe. Passports, drivers licences and Government issued photo ID’s are valid pieces of ID.

Your account may have been deactivated due to a breach in our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy or account inactivity. If your account was deactivated you will have received an email explaining the account deactivation. If you believe your account has been wrongfully deactivated please contact us directly.

If your account was deactivated and the issue has been solved. Simply use your old log in information to access and keep using your Liveworks account. 


Liveworks allows for you to get paid through the app for your worked shifts. Your bank account is required for you to deposit your earnings into it.

We recommend you add your bank account to ensure your transfer of earnings before you work any shifts.

To add your bank account go to the Liveworks app and in your profile go to

  1. Settings
  2. Banking information
  3. Add Bank account

and follow instructions provided in the app.

When a venue pays your for your worked shifts, your earnings are ready to be deposited and will appear in your profile in the Liveworks app. Click on the “deposit” button, choose account to deposit your funds too and that’s it.

It might take up to 7 days for your deposit to appear in your bank account.

After you’ve successfully completed a shift the balance added for that shift will be displayed here. Pending payments are added at the exact clock in and clock out times and not on the shifts advertised times. 

Always make sure that you get clocked in and out at the advertised times so that your pending balances reflect those times.

When the venue processes a payment to you for your worked shifts. When a venue completes a payment to you this amount will become available for you to process a payout.

Payouts is when you deposit your funds from the Liveworks app directly into your bank account.

This may be because the manager on duty has forgotten to Clock you in and out of your shift. Clocking you in and out of a shift will ensure that your balance is always accurate to the shift you have worker.

It is your responsibility to always ensure that the venue manager on duty has clocked you in and out of your shift to avoid this situation.

If a pending shift balance is missing from your payment have the venue manager or yourself contact us with the details of the missing shift and we can manually add a charge to the venue and send it to your account.

Sometimes it takes a couple of days for your payouts to be deposited to your bank account.

Canada: Up to 7 days

USA: Up to 2 days with option of instant payout.

Canada: No you do not need to register for a GST/HST number to work through the Liveworks Platform if you earn under $30,000. If your earnings from the Liveworks platform exceed $30,000 you are required to open a GST account. You can contact Liveworks to learn more about how to open a GST account.

Liveworks asks for your SIN Number so that when tax season comes we are able to provide you and the venues you’ve worked shifts for with the right documents to file your self-employed income taxes. 

Technical App Issues

If you are having issues with your device or app. Try these troubleshooting tricks:

  • Try force-closing the app and reopening.
  • Make sure you have the latest version downloaded. Sometimes deleting and reinstalling the app will resolve the issue.
  • Check your signal strength. If the signal is weak, your device can’t send or receive necessary data.
  • Try to keep your device battery charge above 25% for best performance.
  • Make sure there’s enough storage space in your device.
  • Check that your phone’s operating system is updated to the most current version.
  • Reboot your device.

If your app has crashed please notify us immediately and provide a brief explanation of what happened and we will try to address the issue as quickly as possible.

Worker Support

Download the Liveworks here and sign up as a worker. Make sure you have all your required information to create your account.

To create your Liveworks account you will need:

  1. A Valid Piece of Photo ID to verify your identity and keep the platform safe.
  2. Valid industry certification for the position you want to sign up under. See what certificate you require here
  3. A photo of your resume.

Once Liveworks has verified your identity your account will be approved.

Industry certification depends on what province or state you live in and what position you want to work in. Please visit our Industry Certification page to learn where you can get yours.

When your account has been verified by a Liveworks team member we will notify you by email and you can log in and begin using the platform.

On the Liveworks app home page you can see all the venues that have available shifts wether you work with them full-time or not. 

  1. Go to the app in the home screen.
  2. Click on one of the venues and see their available shifts.
  3. Choose the shift you want and press the apply button. 
  4. After the venue accepts your shift request you will still have to confirm that you will be working that shift 100% by clicking on the “confirm” button.

The shift is still open until you confirm it. Confirming the shift will ensure that your spot as one of the workers working that shift is saved and no other worker can take it.

If you are confirmed to a shift but for some emergency reason you can’t make it, the app allows up to 24 hours for you to cancel it and the venue is able to schedule another worker.

If you did not cancel your shift within up to 24 hours and can’t make it to the shift we advise that you contact the venue directly and let them and explain your situation.

When you miss a shift Liveworks get’s notified. We will try to reach out and see what has happened and try to work with you to prevent any future issues.

You have up to 24 hours to cancel a shift without penalties. To cancel a shift press on your confirmed shift, click on the shift time and press the cancel button below.

If you missed a shift without excuse we will reach out and try to figure out what happened. Keep in mind that your account may be terminated or suspended for a period of time if we determine that your missed shifts violated our terms of use.
